I’m Attending the Disney Cinderella Movie Red Carpet Premiere #CinderellaEvent
You know how you have that impossible dream bucket list? You know, climb Mount Everest or helicopter ride around an active volcano, swim with dolphins…Attend a Red Carpet Event is on mine. And while I’ve married my Prince Charming and have my happily ever after (and definitely cleaned enough for a 1,000 Cinderellas, if you know what I mean), I’ve kind of always wanted to wear that glass slipper. Well, it’s time to move over, Cinderella! This sassy Asian is ready to transform and attend the Royal Ball!
So then this email lands in my box today…. #CinderellaEvent #TheShoeFits

My Once Upon a Time began on January 28, 2015. The email ping certainly did not sound any different than the other 100s of emails that hit my box everyday. But inside was a fairy tale come true.
Me.
Disney.
L.A.
El Captain Theatre.
The Disney Cinderella Red Carpet Movie Premiere.
Walking ON the Red Carpet. Not next to. Not near. Physically stepping on the carpet.
Picking my jaw off the ground repeatedly
It’s just unreal. Chills. And the fun doesn’t stop there. In pure Disney fashion, we won’t only be spoiled with a beautiful hotel room, airfare and food, (there’s no stepsisters in MY Cinderella story!) but our own Glam Ball provided by JC Penney and Disney. Red carpet hair by the JCP Salon, make-up touch-ups, and accessory styling to complete my princess look. Plus, a press junket with interviews of the filmmakers and cast. Can you imagine a moment in a room with Cate Blanchett, a picture with Lily James, a movie breakdown by Director Kenneth Branagh or just a riveting conversation with Helena Bonham-Carter? It is a fairy tale, my fairy tale. Disney really has outdone themselves again with another priceless memory in the making. And I’m sure as with every Disney trip, there will be surprises…though I’m hoping for my own pair of glass slippers from the movie 🙂
I even have my own fairy godmother making my perfect Cinderella gown! The mom in pajamas is embarking on a once in a lifetime journey in just 18 days. I hope you’ll join in the excitement!
So as I pep talk myself with my new mantra of “do not fall on your face at a red carpet premiere,” I am drawing inspiration from the latest Cinderella Movie trailer. Have you seen it yet? SUPER magical! And who’s excited about the new Frozen Fever short that will be opening for the movie? Don’t forget to check out all of the details about the new Disney Cinderella movie, hitting theaters March 13th, 2015!

I’ve found my carriage. Now to find those glass slippers….
