Apple & Spinach Smoothie Recipe

So I don’t usually post 2 recipes in one week, but I couldn’t resist. Maybe it’s because I love my blender so much…but I digress. Today, I’m posting a healthy smoothie twist that’s super easy to throw together for a mommy on the go type breakfast. Or maybe you need a quick afternoon pick-me-up.

This Apple & Spinach Smoothie Recipe will definitely be up your alley. All of the sweetness you love, but packed with natural flavors, vitamins and veggies! Grab your energy for the day and enjoy a delicious green smoothie! Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of fresh baby spinach
  • 1 cup of vanilla yogurt
  • 1 granny smith apple cored peeled if desired
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 3 TBSP agave nectar
  • OPTIONAL: 1-2 TSP of Lemon Juice if desired for a little tartness

Instructions
 

  • Blend ingredients together.
  • Serve immediately. Makes for about (2) 8 oz. smoothies

    I am big on smoothies and always toss some spinach or kale in them. I have never made an apple smoothie though. Interesting mix.
