Why Use All Star Vacation Homes for Your Family Vacations
It’s something I find myself saying often now. “I don’t see my family enough.” As I started to plan my son’s amazing First Visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and his 7th birthday bash, I knew I wanted my family to experience it with me. But how? With so many of us scattered throughout the state and up north, it’s getting tougher and tougher to get my whole extended family together for anything other than special holidays. And then I remembered my awesome experience with All Star Vacation Homes back in April. Surely an amazing vacation home right here in Orlando would be enticing enough for a mini family reunion, right? Check out our full experience, what to expect, and what was included to make our family vacation the BEST yet!
1. Your Extended Family Can All Stay Together
10 people. 4 days. One of the most frustrating things about planning a family vacation is how to keep your whole party together. Different floors, different rooms, no easy access, busy schedules….chaotic can definitely describe the usual vacation flow. Just having everyone in one place makes all of the difference. With All Star Vacation Homes, there’s a home for your large and small families. Plenty of space, plenty of bathrooms (let’s be real, right?), plenty of seats and beds for everyone in our family, I love how we were able to customize our stay to fit our family’s needs. And we were all able to be together.
We stayed at 2711 Formosa Blvd. for our Orlando family vacation. This 5 bathroom, 4 bath home can sleep up to 14 people comfortably with 3,496 square feet of space. With 10 of us cramming in for a long weekend, we definitely had enough room to lounge, eat and play comfortably! Want to see the rooms? Of course, you do!
2. Intimate, Private and Relaxed – Everything a Family Vacation Should Be
There’s some family moments you just don’t want to share with your hotel neighbor. Having been to multiple hotels in the Orlando area, there’s just something so intimate about having your own home to call home for a family vacation. Having room to stretch your legs, play outside, and swim in the pool all to yourselves is so much more relaxing for everyone! What amazing features were included with our home?

Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms
Just like you would find at a hotel. Homey décor, clean sheets, TVs in each bedroom, and soap, shampoo and lotions in each bathroom, each room was ready to welcome our large family for a long weekend.
A well-stocked kitchen
From knives and utensils, bakeware to pots and pans, and even enough dishes to feed over 14 people, we had plenty of great accommodations in our well-stocked kitchen area. It was great to already have all the kitchen conveniences we needed for a weekend of fun. Even things we didn’t think of, like a lighter, bottle opener and can opener were here, just like at home. The island was great for entertaining. We had a big pizza party and birthday party.
We even zested lemons together to make these amazing Lemon Bars with a Pumpkin Spice Crust right in this kitchen!
Fun themed kids’ rooms
All Star Vacation Homes has really amazing rooms dedicated to kids. I appreciate this so much, especially when I am taking my kids out of their normal routines and beds. This time, we were greeted by a beautiful Alice in Wonderland bunk bed room, complete with hanging chandelier and a full size painted mural! My daughter wanted to take home that Cheshire Cat stuffed animal so bad! And the upstairs loft area had been completely transformed into a Lego themed room! Wii and game chairs, lots of Lego bricks and a full size arcade game (with hundreds of classics from Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Atari and more), this room could sleep up to 6 people very comfortably.
Large pool
That was heated! And a great patio area with table and chairs, lounge chairs and even a grill!
Spa
With jets, warm temperatures and enough room to fit 8 adults (or a bunch of silly kids).
Playground
It was such a fun surprise to see the whole side of the house dedicated to a ginormous playground for the kids. The “big slide” was perfect for my independent toddler, 3 swings (including a baby swing) and the mulch area was really nice to see too.
Large common rooms
Need extra space to lounge, relax, hang out and just be together? There’s plenty of that too! All Star Vacation Homes have great common rooms for getting the family together. Late night chats and movie dates, and eating…oh the eating! We definitely covered each and every room of the house. The kids loved exploring and finding new places to check out too!
3. Includes Those Special Extras
Planning a family vacation for 10 people is no small feat. There’s lots of i’s to dot and t’s to cross. And to say that my memory is mush these days would be a high understatement. But All Star Vacation Homes really goes above and beyond to ensure that you have an amazing stay. From email reminders with directions, what to bring and phone numbers in case we needed something, to well-stocked homes with everything we need (and possibly forgot!), to courtesy phone calls to ensure everything was working properly, it was great to know that All Star Vacation Homes cared….really cared about our vacation. Here’s what we found in our house, already there waiting for us:
- Roll of Paper Towels in the kitchen
- Toilet Paper (plus extra) in every bathroom
- Toiletries in each bathroom
- Garbage bags
- Tissues
- Hand soap
- Dish soap at the kitchen sink
- Dishwasher detergent
- Laundry detergent
- Dryer sheets
- Extra blankets
- Extra towels
- Pool towels
- Private house WiFi
Which is so awesome! That meant less that we had to bring with us. And more than that, we were so blessed with the things that we didn’t have to do after a weekend of fun. No bed stripping or worrying about garbage, dishes or messes. We can go right home after a weekend of memories. All Star Vacation Homes makes sure that everything is clean and ready for the next house guests. Talk about service!
4. Close to Your Family Vacation Favorite Theme Parks
Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, I was shocked to realize just how close we were to the action! Less than a mile from Irlo Bronson Highway and a grocery store, and minutes away from Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal Orlando and all of your family’s favorite Orlando attractions, All Star Vacation Homes is conveniently located next to the places for family adventure and priceless memories! Just a short drive from our family day at Universal Orlando for my son’s birthday, we were able to soak in all of the memories and come home to a “home” just for our family. There’s just no words to describe how amazing that is.
5. The Memories Are Everything!
It’s been a couple of weeks since our family vacation, and the whole family is still talking about our stay. Even the kids are asking us when we will get to stay in the big house with the whole family again! And more than just theme park memories, we loved just being able to blow out birthday candles, have a big pizza party, splash in the pool, play video games, and lounge while watching TV, all together. It’s a weekend that’s definitely ingrained in our family’s memories for years and years to come, especially my son.
“Remember that time we had fun and stayed in that big house for my birthday?”
