Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 Cups of Flour
  • 1 TSP Baking Soda
  • 1 TSP Salt
  • 1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup 2 sticks Butter, softened
  • 2 TSP Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 TBSP Cinnamon
  • 1/2 TSP Cardamom
  • 1/4 TSP Ground Cloves
  • 1/4 TSP Ground Ginger
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Cups Chocolate Chips
  • Ice Cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  • In large bowl, beat brown sugar, sugar, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and ginger until creamy.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg addition.
  • Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake about 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool completely on wire racks.
  • When completely cool, place a scoop of ice cream in between 2 cookies. Press together to make an ice cream sandwich.
  • Serve immediately
