Frozen Fever Inspired Chex Mix Recipe

Ingredients
- 9 cups of your favorite Chex cereal
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups of yellow blue & green chocolate candies
- 2 cups of mini marshmallows
- Blue or black food coloring
Instructions
- In large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
- In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
- Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool.
- While cooling, pour a few drops of food coloring into small bowl. Using a toothpick, create 2 eyes and a mouth on each mini marshmallow. Allow to dry. Add to mixture.
- Add colored chocolate candies to mixture.
- Combine and serve. Store in airtight container.
